Franklin Victor’s journey in music is rooted in a deep passion for both artistic expression and intellectual exploration. As a pianist, composer, and choral arranger, he has dedicated himself to crafting music that resonates with both performers and audiences, particularly within the realms of sacred and contemporary traditions. His musical path has been significantly shaped by his work as an organist at St. Paul’s Church and as a guest organist at All Saints Church, Tiruchirappalli. These experiences in liturgical settings have influenced his compositional voice, inspiring works that reflect both spiritual depth and musical richness. In addition to the piano and organ, Franklin Victor is also proficient in the guitar and mandolin, bringing a broader instrumental perspective to his compositions and arrangements. This versatility enriches his musical language and allows him to engage with diverse tonal colors and textures. Over the years, he has developed a distinctive style in writing for vocal and instrumental ensembles. His compositions and arrangements span SATB, TTBB, solo voices, duets, and string ensemble. Through collaborations with various choirs and musicians, he has created commissioned works that are thoughtfully tailored to the unique character and needs of each ensemble. Parallel to his musical journey, Franklin Victor is a Professor of Mathematics at Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli.
